Spotify remains a dissonant chord: As its <a href=\"https:\/\/support.spotify.com\/us\/article\/facebook-login-help\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-t-l=\":b|e|inline click|${u}\" class=\"gnt_ar_b_a\">help page<\/a> notes, if you opened an account from Facebook, you can\u2019t remove that authentication. You\u2019ll have to create a new account, then rebuild your playlists.<br \/>If you\u2019ve held off on using a <a href=\"\/story\/tech\/columnist\/2021\/04\/28\/dashlane-rolls-out-essentials-plan-its-password-manager\/4863790001\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-t-l=\":b|e|inline click|${u}\" class=\"gnt_ar_b_a\">password manager<\/a>, dumping Facebook\u2019s external logins can be your opportunity to change that.<br \/>\u25ba<strong>Stop porch pirates from swiping packages:\u00a0<\/strong><a href=\"\/story\/tech\/2021\/11\/02\/stop-porch-pirates-swiping-packages\/6246128001\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-t-l=\":b|e|inline click|${u}\" class=\"gnt_ar_b_a\">Talking Tech podcast<\/a><br \/>Facebook\u2019s site and apps can be among the neediest occupants of your screens, interrupting you with notifications about things it thinks you missed. You can\u2019t turn them off entirely, but you can <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/help\/390022341057202\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-t-l=\":b|e|inline click|${u}\" class=\"gnt_ar_b_a\">limit their number and nature in Facebook\u2019s settings<\/a>.<br \/>Tap or click the menu (top right in a desktop browser or its Android app, bottom right in the iPhone and iPad apps), select\u00a0 \u201cSettings &#038;
