What a mess.\u201d<br \/>Wrote one more: \u201cWhat the hell is that? I am shaken.\u201d<br \/>Despite this widespread concern about the food safety risks, others felt it was a \u201cgreat idea\u201d.<br \/>\u201cThis is genius! I would never have thought of it,\u201d said one. \u201cI wash my refrigerator with soap and bleach regularly so this wouldn\u2019t be a problem. Love it!\u201d<br \/>Added another: \u201cAbsolutely love it.\u201d<br \/>Wrote a third: \u201cActually if the drawer is clean\/sanitised &#8211; why not?! I think this is great idea.\u201d<br \/>Said one more: \u201cTo those saying yuck or gross have no idea what is going on, the brine has a lot of salt in it, the turkey is also being kept cold so it doesn\u2019t spoil.\u201d<br \/>The Victorian Government\u2019s <a class=\"css-1h8ruiq-StyledTextLink ezegcyi0\" data-link-type=\"article-inline\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.betterhealth.vic.gov.au\/about\/about-us\" rel=\"noopener\">Better Health Channel<\/a> advises that care should be taken when storing raw food and their liquids in fridges.<br \/>\u201cAlways store raw food in sealed or covered containers at the bottom of the fridge,\u201d the website says.<br \/>\u201cKeep raw foods below cooked foods, to avoid liquid such as meat juices dripping down and contaminating the cooked food.<br \/>\u201cMake sure your food storage containers are clean and in good condition, and only use them for storing food.
