DisguisedToast Leaves Facebook Gaming, Hints at Twitch Return – Game Rant

Popular streamer DisguisedToast announces the end of his contract with and departure from Facebook Gaming, hinting at a Twitch return.
Facebook Gaming has rapidly become a notable competitor to Twitch's reign as top livestreaming platform over the past two years. At least part of that rise came due to Facebook Gaming's signing of streamer DisguisedToast, who in 2018 was one of Twitch's up-and-coming talents. On Facebook, DisguisedToast's celebrity rose as he became one of the most popular Among Us streamers online. Now, however, DisguisedToast's Facebook Gaming contract has come to its end, leaving many questioning where his next home will be.
DisguisedToast officially announced his departure from Facebook on Wednesday, November 16. In a post shared both on Facebook and Twitter, DisguisedToast announced that, "Today marks my last day livestreaming on the platform." He went on to say that the last two years featured some of the "best moments of my career" and that he wishes Facebook success in the future. In the statement, DisguisedToast makes no mention of where he's going or what his plans are.

A day later and DisguisedToast has not started streaming on a new platform just yet. However, he has left what could be a clue about his future plans. A friend and fellow streamer named Hafu responded to Toast's Facebook Gaming message on Twitter, saying she was excited to see Toast thrive wherever he goes next. Toast responded to Hafu, saying that he might have to "move [her] from 'friend' to 'competition' once again." Hafu notably streams on Twitch.
Many of DisguisedToast's fans are speculating that his post saying he'll be seeing Hafu as "competition" again means he'll be returning to streaming on Twitch. That definitely seems like a very real possibility. Toast has been doing excursions back on Twitch over the past several months. His Facebook Gaming contract allowed him to stream there, so long as it wasn't monetized and he kept it to just chatting with friends. It felt like DisguisedToast was laying the groundwork for his return to Twitch, seeing whether his viewership was still there.
Until DisguisedToast makes the move, nothing is certain. Toast could still decide to go to Youtube, for example. Toast's Among Us videos consistently receive millions of views and Toast has even teased playing Among Us again before too long. It also fits with Hafu being competition, as Hafu drops Youtube videos nearly daily.
One thing that seems near-certain is that fans of DisguisedToast probably won't have to wait long to see where the streamer heads next, whether it's Twitch, Youtube, or a mystery platform. Toast never stays away from streaming for long. Plus, he's recently changed his logo, removing the hat from his moustached toast figure, perhaps pointing to his excitement for a new beginning and a new Toast.
