A fugitive attempted murderer has taunted police by changing his Facebook profile picture to a gingerbread man and saying how ‘good looking’ his mugshot is.
Michael Swansborough, who is wanted in connection with being recalled to prison, has also threatened to ‘screen a real life Hunted on Instagram Live in reference to the Channel 4 fugitives show.
Kent Police issued a public appeal on its social media last week as officers try to trace his whereabouts.
However, Swansborough commented on the Facebook post of his own custody picture, saying: ‘What a good looking fella.’
The comment received hundreds of likes, while the fugitive even had the audacity to like other people’s replies.
Police say he has links to  Ashford, Thanet and Canterbury.
But despite being on the run, Swansborough appears to be making little effort to lie low.
He has now changed his Facebook profile picture to a gingerbread man, equipped with a smiley face and bow tie, in an apparent reference to its anthem ‘can’t catch me, I’m the gingerbread man’.
In June 2009, Swansborough, then 19, was sentenced to an indeterminate jail term after pleading guilty to the attempted murder of a teenager.

He and an accomplice attacked friend Lloyd Dawson Smith, who suffered a punctured lung and stab wounds to his back and shoulder, following a night out in Ashford, Kent, in 2008.
A judge ordered Swansborough would serve at least five years before being eligible for parole.
He said: ‘No doubt you present a significant risk of further offences in the future.’
But in a post on his Facebook last week Swansborough threatened to ‘screen a real life Hunted on IG Live’ and ‘really embarrass’ police if officers kept ‘going to random addresses’ to ask for information on his whereabouts.
He also claimed his latest ordeal is ‘water off a duck’s back my friends’.
A Kent Police spokesman said: ‘Michael Swansborough is wanted in connection with being recalled to prison.
‘If you know where he is, call 101 quoting 46/8715/22.
